By now I’m sure everyone has seen the Veronica Mars Season 4 trailer that was included as a special feature in the Season 3 DVD. The whole time I was watching the trailer, I couldn’t stop looking at the clock because I knew that after 12 minutes, it would be over forever. Veronica Mars would only exist on DVDs, and we would be left to ponder what became of our favorite characters. So many questions were left unanswered: What kinds of terrible secrets is Gory hiding? Is he going to go after Logan for beating him up in the dining hall? Did Veronica take the summer internship at the FBI? Did Keith Mars win the election for Sheriff? While I thoroughly enjoyed the trailer for Season 4, it was a bittersweet moment. I knew that none of those questions were going to be answered in those 12 minutes. At the same time, it was exciting to see Veronica at the FBI, as the new girl.
What were your thoughts on the trailer? Were you as excited as I was to see the rest of that episode? Does anyone have any doubt at all that a fourth season of Veronica Mars would have been indescribably better than any of the new shows that debuted on the CW this fall?
