Survivor’s Denise apologizes and gives up $50K

It’s been reported on tvguide.com that Denise from Survivor China, aka America’s most famous lunch lady ever, has issued a formal apology and asked for the $50,000 she was given during the reunion show to be donated to the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. 

If she had just worked the “difficult life” angle a little more without lying about being demoted, I think she would have been given $50,000 anyway.  Now, she’s famous for being ungrateful to the school district in which she works, a liar, and $50,000 poorer.  Well played, Denise.
